As another follow up to our recent post, J.P. Morgan Touts Huge Returns Around Climate Adaptation, Jeff recently sat down at the NYSE to speak with Dr. Prad Parhi, Executive Director, Commercial and Investment Bank at JPMorgan, about his team’s recent paper:
The Future of Water Resilience in the U.S.
Dr. Parhi notes that historically, water supply and demand ratios have remained in relative states of equilibrium. But now, multiple factors related to increasing deglobalization (restructuring of global trade), digitization (large scale building of data centers), and decarbonization (treatment, distribution, and desalinization needs) are dramatically disrupting the long-time accepted status quo.
As many of you know, water is one of our main investment themes.
